The More the Merriere

Today for the Summer Learning Journey we had to compare a big family and a small family. I have learnt to never have a big family because it is hard work. In this activity we had to say if you prefer or want a big family and be the leader or have a small family. If you guys are wondering what that photo is it is me when I was little and I was just comparing how big my family is..... Which do you want 10 people in your family? I also wrote on the DLO I don't want a big family.

Special Meals

Today for the Summer Learning Journey we had to say what is your favourite food. I haven't learnt anything yet but I did learn something to make sure use Label for reuse. Why? So that you can get the persons name of the photo and the Licenses which I got. My favourite food is a Cookie because Cookie and Chavda has 6 letters and because I love them. This Activity we had to say which one was our favourite food which is easy to find out because you can see a photo. My favourite kind of ones are M&M because it is very tasty and very yummy in my mouth.

Dream Job

Today I did the Summer Learning Journey. I didn't really learnt anything because we just had to draw you being that kind of person doing there job. I wanted to be a Net Ball player since I was 5 years old. Because it is very fun and because it is kind of giving in exercise which I do need. In this Activity we had to make a person doing it. I decided to write why I want to and what is my Dream Job. I also made a court so that it can seem like I am actually on a court.

Comparing Houses

Today for the Summer Learning Journey we had to compare our house and the Maori Church. I haven't learnt anything from this because we just to compare our house and the Maori Church house and say which house it better. In this Activity we had to compare our house and the Maori Church and say which kind of house is better. I said the picture of it would go to the Maori Church because it is a better photo and I just took a screenshot of my house from maps. I only did it because I was too tired to take a photo of my house fully.

Setting Sailing Letter

Today for the Summer Learning Journey we had to make a letter if we were moving to a new country. I have learnt something about this because I was trying to make a image in my head how would it feel. I felt scared because it might be your first time ever moving to a new country. In this activity we had to write a letter about how would if feel moving into a new country. In this letter it has to be something like it is real to you inside the letter.

Waka Ama

Today for the Summer Learning Journey I made a DLO about Waka Ama. I have learnt something new about Sailing and different other kind of things. In this Activity we had to say if you want to or not want to do Waka Ama. I said yes because it would be something new that I haven't done. I also really want to goon a waka because it would be my first time on a waka. We also had to watch a short video about Waka Ama. We had to watch the video so that we can see like an example of what a Waka Ama so that we can know.

Maui and the Giant Fish

Today we had to start on the Summer Learning Journey . I have learnt something about Maui and the Giant Fish story. I also learnt new words and new facts. We had to start the Summer Learning Journey in our class because today is the day you have to start doing the Summer Learning Journey. We also had to get started because I think we are the only school that is still at school and other people from different schools must of started so we have to keep up. In this activity we had to get 3 facts from the link on the site. The main character in the link was Maui because you can just tell the tittle Maui and the Giant Fish which is something obviously to find out. Maui has 2 brothers.

Today I commented on Chris's blog. I really loved how his acting was really good like everyone else that made one. I felt like during his video it looked like he was reading his script mos of the time instead of just looking at the camera.

That's My Money

Today for Maths we played a kind of bank account called That's My Money. I have learnt how to save my money wisely and to make I don't go in the negative. I have also learnt that I should go the right way not the opposite way so that you wont be behind everyone else. We had to do this for 2 week which this week is the week of doing this. Everyone had heaps of fun getting money by doing work. This has helped heaps of people for Maths because we had to make DLO and show it to Mr Wong so that he can give us money so it is a Win Win....

Today I played a game Jet Ski Addition. This game is very fun and I have learnt some new time tables. How to play? You can costume your own Jet Ski buy clicking on the Jet Ski then there would be colours for you to choose. You also have to press the number that you think that is the correct answer to that question. If you want to win you have to get all of them correct. Before you started this game you have to make a game.

Kiwi Sport

Today for Badminton it was our last session of Badminton. We had a warm up game. The game we played was Octopus. We had only 2 rounds. It was so fun because I made it in the 2 round but lost the 1 round. We started to get into Badminton. We first learnt a trick shot. It was very hard. We had to make sure the shuttle was on the rack when we had to filp it over. We went into Single and Doubles after words.

Today for Writing I had to make a poem about Christmas. I learnt how to make a poem fast as so that I can finished it as my Must Do. I also learnt how to make a poem at the end that had to make sure it rhyme at the end for to of them. We had to make sure we finished it today so that we can but it on the must do task list so that we wont have to feel bad that you haven't finished it.

Today i played a game called Free Rice. I have learnt new words that is should have learnt at my year. I also learnt the meaning which I was so happy because I also wanted to learn the meaning to that word. How to play? If you want to know if you got it correct or wrong then it would be at the top. The colours would be Green if it is correct and black if you got it wrong. They would also show the real word to that word that you got wrong.

It's Novel Time

Today for Reading I worked with Florence. I have learnt how to read fast because I had to go up to 201 and I only went up to 102 because it would take a very long time to finished reading the Witches. I worked  with Florence. I only did the video by myself because Florence was at Kiwi Sport so I just did it so I can finished off my mustdo.

Today for Writing we had to use our paper that we wrote in group of 3 and put it in a document and make pictures. I learnt how to make pictures. We had to get into a group of 3. I was with Angela and Nyjah. This was kind of hard because we had to do it in a hour which I didn't so I did my one tomorrow. We had to write On a planet far away, one day and the next day. We had to write it but after 5 minutes we have to give your paper until you have finished doing everyone inside your group. The hardest one that I did was doing the pictures because we had to make it go with the writing so I decided to use the main words inside the document and make the pictures. 

Kiwi Sport

Today for Kiwi Can we had a warm up. The game we played was called Stuck in the Mud. We had 2 rounds and 2 new people. It was very fun and kind of not fun at the same time. After words we started getting into Backhand. The reason why we did Backhand because we did Forehand for a very long time. I was with Fui. We did a kind of good job because we kept on failing so we decide to do it a little but easilier. We started to play a game that we did last week. The game was called Single Hit. It was very fun because I learnt a trick that I also wanted to learn which I was so happy because people would always use it on me. After words I peered up with Avalon. We started to be bad but when we started to keep on versing people that we couldn't defeated but then we did.

That My Money

LI: To manage finances and profit.
Today for Maths we are doing a kind of game but is about Money. I am starting to learn how to use my Money very wisely because we are doing it for 2 weeks. I am also doing very bad because I am not even near paying my Rent today. We had to work by yourself because this is something for us to use money wisely and taking care of it. We also had to make sure our money is not is the negative's or else we wont have a prize. We also have to pay our rent every time we do Maths. The only way you get to get more Money is if we do more Maths work.

Today I played a game called Table Master. What did you learned? I learnt some new time table that I havent learnt in a very long time. How did you learned? The reason why I went on Table Master because I havent went on it for a very long time.

Kiwi Can

Today for Kiwi Can we had three people. We were outside the whole session. Our first game we played it was a team of 2 kind of games. One team was Non Bibs and the other team was Bibs. I was in Non Bibs. The game was called Island Tag. We also made it easier and had Hula Hoops which was something that is a save zone. My team was alright in the games but it kind of wasn't fear because Julian was in the other team which gave them a better chance of winning. In the next round we got to take 2 steps because some people didn't know what to do. After woods we all went inside and was talking about what is the next thing we were going to do. We went back outside to do out last game which was Defend our Terr ff. This game was really had because people kept smashing our field kind of thing down. This was very hard because they had taller people then us.

Three Roles

Today for Inquiry we had to choose 3 different Roles. What did you learned? I learnt what Politicians,Lawyer and Food Service does. I also learnt some new facts that I haven't learnt. How did you learned? The reason I have picked those Jobs because we had to choose out of Government Service,Emergency Service,Trades and Professionals. We had to only chose one topic from one box not the one that is in the same box like Trades I can't choose all three topic inside Trades. I choose those 3 topics is because I knew some of the facts and I wanted to do which I have all ready done Food Service.

I also wanted to work with Florence so now I can. The book we did was The Witches which is one of the Roald Dahl books.

Today I played a game called Free Rice. What did you learned? I actually learnt the meaning to something which is Mist. How did you learned? I did this game because I remember playing this game all the time last year but now I don't really play it anymore. How to play? You have to choose out of those 4 words that is the meaning of the word that is coloured Black. If you want to know the correct answer or wrong then you can see it at the very top so that you can get your answer.

Current Events

Today I worked with Florence for Current Events. What did you learned? I have learnt a lot of things from this article. I also learnt that Victoria is a City, and I also found out from reading the article.  How did you learned? This article was called Flooding in Victoria. Which Victoria is a City. I worked with Florence. I did all of the work and Florence didn't because she just wanted to use this to put on her blog so I let her because I felt sorry for her.
