This is all of about Germany they have Celebrations of days and the days they have is Unity Day,Carnival Day,Karneval Day and Traditions like we have for New Zealand.

Do you know what they mean when it says the 'reunification of Germnay'? Basically, after World War II Germany was split into two parts, East Germany and West Germany. They built a massive wall right down the middle of it, and no one was allowed to cross. If you were caught trying to cross the wall you were in a lot of trouble. Some people even died trying to make it across to their friends and family on the other side.
In 1990, they finally knocked the wall down and Germany became one country again! Hence why they celebrate the reunification of Germany on October 3rd :-)
