Day 3 Wild Eyes

This is a pekapeka bat and it lives in New Zealand. The greater short-tailed bat is thought to be extinct. They are called The greater short-tailed bat is thought to be extinct.

    Good effort on doing this task. Great to see you have used an image to show what the Pekapeka bat looks like. Do you think you could find it at the Otorohanga Kiwi House and Native Bird Park?

    The Pekapeka bat sounds like a cool animal. I haven't heard of the greater short tailed bat before so it must have gone extinct a while ago. Well done.
