Place Value Partitioning

This DLO shows how I used the strategy of place value partitioning to solve addition questions. During our maths lesson we practised using this strategy with number and word questions. When I was answering the word question I had to look for the maths so that I knew what numbers to work with. My screencastify shows the strategy I used. The more I used this strategy the easier it got.

Today for Maths I learned about place value. We had to make our own strategy, questions to solve it and the video that is an example of the strategy. Fui and I made a video which me and fui had to make another google drawing that was the example for the video. Me and Fui put the strategy google drawing link on the slide but we only made people video it only.

To know what is a Place value

We would have to make place value houses . We would need 3 houses ,  the 000's  , 000,00's and 000,000's so we would start with the 100's until it is full we would go to the left so we would be in the 000,00's until we are finished we would move to the left and it would be the last move to the left . Now we are at the  000,000 and when it is full I would be done using the 3 houses .
