People needs to stop droping rubbish on the ground because that is bad for animals because their eating rubbish and they might think that it is food which it is not. And the New Zealand would be full of rubbish and it would be dirty, but it won't be clean like other country.

Today I would wrote a description about why you shouldn't drop rubbish on the ground and what would happen if you do drop rubbish on the ground.

It is not good to kill the Predators because that is bad because your kill animal and animal needs to be free and happy but not destroying city.

Today I have learnt something about Napier and I learnt some animal that are predators which made so surprise.

Day 2 : ( Activitie 2)

Laura is a teen and her age is 16 years old. She sails as a solo because she wants to travel around the worlds but on a boat instead of using car going and booking  a place for you too go and live.

Today for this activity I have learn't things that I haven't learnt. I am so happy that I learnt it because it would help me with school work.

Day 5: (Activitie 1)

Lewis Pass Scenic Reserve made a photo called Lake Daniel track. He wrote this is a great walk for families with young children or those people new to tramping. The track is a well formed bench track that can also be completed as a day walk. 

Today I wrote about Lewis Pass Scenic Reserve for the Winter summer learning program. I also learnt what he does to make people to believe in there self.

Narrative

LI: to Illustrate the Narrative.
For Writing I made a Narrative about Jill, Jack and the Monster. What did you learn? I learnt more thing about writhing a Narrative and is put into a Narrative . How did you learn it? So we would have to use some of our planning writing for our Narrative.

Measuring Weight

 LI: To measure our weight using scale.
Today for Maths we measured our weight using a scale. I worked with 4 people their names are  called Victoria,Matthew,Chris and Mojtaba. What did you learn? I learnt who weight of a Boeing 787,Gorilla,Bus and Boulder. How did you learn it? So we compared our weight to a Bus,Gorilla,Boulder and Boeing 787 buy doing our Addition or Subtraction to make the same weight of it or it has to be around the items.

Today for Inquiry we are learning about is the Winter Solstice. What did you learn? I learnt what Solstice mean and I also learnt more things about Winter like what happens in Winter time and other things to about Winter. How did you learn it? So we would have to make animation about the Winter Solstice and we would have to explain what it really meant in the animation.


Tamaki Wrap


LI: To use things that are not Plastic. Today we went to the hall and learnt about Tamaki Wrap the people that taught us was Liz and Daughter they taught us why we have plastic and where plastic go's. I learnt things that could be useful and helpful for people's things to  keep inside. And I also learnt what are things that's plastic that I haven't seen before. In Tamaki Wrap we had to stuck things on the piece of paper at each paper.

How did you learn it ?We would have 2 options read 2 articles on Kiwi kids news that are different and the second option is to read 2 articles that are different and that are on NZ herald and that is on Kiwi kids news.

Events (Matariki)



LI: To develop an understanding of different elements of Matariki to make Text to Text, Text to world and Text to self connections.
I learnt what countries that celebrates around the world. The countries that I would give to you are called USA,Afghanistan,India and Ireland.
So we would have to find things that is  a event and we would have to find a country that owns the event you would have to write information about the country.

Raz Kids Questions


Today I did Raz kids. This book was called Maria counts Pumpkins, I  got 5 out of 5 it was easy a book for me to read and say the the words.

Angel degree


Our L.I was to measure the angle degree. This week I worked with Nyjah and Charlize to measure the angle degree of a fraction. We did one slide each and measured them. The more people in our group then the more slides we had because each person could measure one fraction and put it on the slide.

LI to engage with current events.
Today for reading we read a article that was called man balance a lawn mower on his chin.
I learnt that someone can hold a lawn mower on his chin and  run with a milk that was on top of his head. So we would go on kiwi kids news and on the top selection their are words that leads you to different places. So you click on odd stuff and their would be a article called man balances a lawn mower on his chin and you have to click it then start reading or you could watch the video.

SSR Self

This is my self of the book that I just took. I would have to read a book for 15 minutes then I would retell the book it in my own words. After I wrote my description I could comment on other peoples slide and say what level they are on.

I learnt even more things about technology and piece of technology . I also learnt what is a system for Community, Home and world .  
So we would have to go into groups of 3 and we would have to share one of the slides to our group. After you finished the slide you would have to work on the other.

Measuring of time.

LI: to identify the units of time in order from shortest to longest.

I kind of learnt what is a length that was in the challenge.#
We would go together as a group and we would have to make a spreadsheet on our drive. Then we would go outside and everyone in the group would  have to run a length of the hall running and walking same on the courts and field.

Keyword Summary

LI: identify keywords and key phrases.I learnt a little bit of what is a key word.So we would re read our book from last week and he would use some of the words to answer the text that was on the google doc. And we would had to make a sentence that was in the summarise the test in 25 words but it had to be in one box.

So we had to go into groups of 3 or 2. We had to share are narrative writing to are group, after we shared it to are group we would have to read their writing then we would have to comment and highlight the word and say what they need to change.

Compare and Contrast

LI: To identify the differences and the same between a piece of technology and a technological system.


I learnt what are the differences between a piece of technology and a technological system. I also learnt that compare and contrast means when you give information about 2 different things that will combine in a lot of similarities.
We would make a google drawing that was called teach art and make the T chart on the google drawing and write piece on one side and technology on the other side, and choose one thing from piece of technology and technology system.

Exciting Hook

Ll:To write and exciting Hook

I learnt what is a exciting hook. I also learnt what does onomatopoeia means. Onomatopoeia means a sound- words like Bang,Crash,Whip.
For writing we would get into groups of 4 and one of the people in the group has to get a whiteboard and a whiteboard marker. Mr O would give us a place and we would have to add an exciting hook at the start of the story then talk about the place.

I learnt what Watercress means and some of the Maori words that was on the vocabulary list on the right side of the page.  
So we would make a copy on word webs and use 1 word that was on the vocabulary list and put it in the middle of the box.

Liquid Volume

LI: How to measure liquid volume.

I learnt that for millilitres you times on 1000 for example 200mL is 0.20.

We would search up for liquid things like coca cola or something else and get 4 pictures of different liquids and place it on the google drawing. Then we did the mL or L calculations of it.

LI: To define a Piece of Technology & to define a Technological System.

I learnt what is a Technological and I even learnt more things about Technological system and a Piece of Technology.


How did I learn it was that I went on and activity and had to sort out the photos that was on the google doc called strategy.
