The Sky’s the Limit! | Day 5 Week 4 Last Activities

On your blog tell us three things that you could do to help save the planet.

Save Animals like dogs and more
Feed the homeless
Pick up Rubbish

On your blog, list the three animals that you have chosen and then compare and contrast them. How are they similar? How are they different? At the bottom of your post, tell us which of the three animals you would most like to adopt.

These animals are similar because they are type of dogs. Their different by the shape of their body. I will like to adopt a Gray Wolf because they are so cute .

Gray Wolf
Red Fox
German Shepherd

  1. What is one thing that you learned from participating in the Summer Learning Journey program this year?
  2. What is one thing that surprised you?
  3. What is one thing that concerned or upset you?
  4. What is one thing that you (or your family) can do, moving forward, to help protect our natural environment?
I have learnt many information from the summer learning journey it also felt like I traveled around New Zealand and other countries. The one thing that surprised me is I am the first person to finish the summer learning journey at Panmure Bridge School and I have learned alot. The one thing that made me upset was choosing between 4 or more ideas that made it pretty hard for me to do. My family can pick Rubbish and for myself is to try and play outside with my family members. Thank you to the summer learning journey for making it fun for me and everyone else that is doing it. 😁

  1. Kia Ora Chavda,

Congratulations on being the first person to finish the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. That is a huge accomplishment! I'm really happy to read that you learned a lot about New Zealand and can completely understand that it would be hard having to choose between four or more ideas. That can be pretty difficult, sometimes, can't it?

I hope that you will have time to hop back online throughout the summer to comment on other student's work. To earn full points for commenting this year, we are looking for you to write three full sentences (or more) and include specific information in your comment that relates to the post that you have read. Every quality comment is worth 2 points.

We are really looking forward to reading through every single one of your 60 posts and providing comments. We have tracked all of your activity in our big spreadsheet. You've earned over 340 points already. Wow!

    All the best,

  8. Hi Chavda,
Well done on finishing all of the Summer Learning Journey activities. I think that you have done a great job and have worked very hard. I like that the three animals you chose are very similar to one another (you can't get more closer than a fox, a wolf and a dog). Keep up the good work Chavda.
